Colour fringes, caused by chromatic aberration in cheaper binoculars, are prevented by the Pirsch’s special high-performance ED glass.This is reinforced by the high-quality fully multi coating.

The combination of the built-in Barium-Kron glass material and the Dielectric coating on the prisms makes the picture even brighter and clearer. So they are well-suited to use under many different lighting conditions – even providing good views in twilight. TwistUp eyecups means the user can find the perfect position for their eyes in relation to the eyepiece lenses – even spectacle wearers can also enjoy the full field of view. These TwistUp eyecups are adjustable in 2 steps from fully down, to a medium position, to an upper setting. The rubber armouring, which is installed all over the binoculars, provides excellent grip and soft ergonomic feel in the hand. All Pirsch ED models are equipped with a wide, very comfortable carrying strap. To complete the package, these models are all purged with high-quality ARGON gas, which protects the binoculars from fogging. Pirsch ED models are also protected against water ingress.
